Sprout Enterprise invests in BIDUK and the creative economy in Indonesia

Athena Global is the implementing partner of BIDUK, a prototype debt fund supplying capital to SGBs in Indonesia. BIDUK (Berinvestasti Dalam Usaha untuk Kemajuan or Investing in Business for Progress) delivers lending products that are custom-tailored to meet the specific capital requirements of SGBs, using cash-flow based lending. We are very pleased that Sprout Enterprise, an initiative of US-based non-profit Friends of Tilonia, has chosen to support this purpose-built lending platform.

Sprout Enterprise has supported a network of charitable affiliates working for rural development in India, Mexico, Guatemala and Cambodia, benefiting more than 2 million people in the process. This is the non-profit’s first venture in Indonesia, and we couldn’t be happier about it.
